Mac Mail 10
- Open Mac Mail
- Click Mail
- Add Account
- Select Other Mail Account from the list
- Click Continue
- Enter Name of the account
- Enter Email Address
- Enter Email Password
- Click Sign in
- Click Continue if a Pop up message shows up saying the Password can't be sent securely
- Choose IMAP or POP
- Incoming Mail Server:mail.teksavvy.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.teksavvy.com or out.teksavvy.com if off the Teksavvy network
- There will probably be a message Unable to Verify Account Name or Password
- Click Sign In
- Back at the client click Mail
- Click Preferences
- Click Accounts
- Click the Server Settings tab
- Uncheck Automatically manage connection settings
- Verify the correct Port Number is there 110 for POP or 143 for IMAP
- Remove the Check for TLS/SSL
- Authentication: Password
- Outgoing Verify that Port 25 for SMTP or 1025 for OUT is used
- Confirm the check for TLS/SSL is selected. (This only applies to Outgoing Server)
- Authenticated: Password
- Save
