Performing a User Reset on your TekTalk device

If you have no dial tone on your TekTalk device, performing a User Reset should re-establish a dial tone enabling your calls to connect.

 SPA122 or SPA2102

Use the following steps:

  1. Using the phone that's plugged into the Line 1 of your ATA, enter ****. This will access the ATA's IVR system.
  2. Once you hear the In-Voice Recording, enter 877778#. You should hear a prompt stating "Enter 1 to confirm your selection."
  3. Enter 1 and hang up the phone. Allow 10 minutes for the reset to fully complete.

Note if you have DSL Service you may have to configure the ATA with your DSL User Name and Password.

 

HT502

Use the following steps:

  1. Unplug the Ethernet cable from the unit.
  2. Locate the pin hole button on the back of the device (next to the power connection)
  3. Insert a pin into the hole mentioned in step 2, press and hold for 7 seconds
  4. Release the pin hole button. This will return the unit to factory default settings.

Note if you have DSL Service you may have to configure the ATA with your DSL User Name and Password.
