How To: Resetting your Motorola SB6120/5100/5151N

  1. Disconnect the coax cable.  This will stop all data flow.
  2. Access the WebUI http://192.168.100.1
  3. Choose 'Configuration' from the sidebar 
  4. Click 'Restore Factory Defaults' and confirm by choosing 'OK'
  5. Wait for the modem to reboot. (Resetting may take 5-30 minutes.) 
  6. Click 'Restart Cable Modem' and confirm by choosing 'OK'
  7. Reconnect the coax
