It generally takes us 7 to 10 calendar days to get a new cable service activated in Ontario on the Rogers network.
We will require you to provide us with three tentative dispatch dates during our sign up process. These dates will be provided to our vendor as the dates you would prefer them to install your service; however, we cannot guarantee that your installation will occur on one of these dates.
Your order will be processed and submitted to our vendor as soon as we have received payment. If payment is not promptly received, it will most likely delay your activation.
Our vendor will provide us with confirmation of your installation dispatch within 48 hours of your order's submission to them. Our Account Management team will then contact you to inform you of the exact date and time that your installation will take place.
Remember: While it is very likely that your installation will occur on one of the dates you selected, we cannot guarantee it! Please do not book time off of work or arrange for someone to stay at your home until we have contacted you to confirm your dispatch. We sincerely do not wish to waste your time or the time of your friends/family.
One of our vendors' technicians will come to your home on your installation date and activate your service on your existing jacks. If you do not have existing jacks in your home, they will install a single new jack. They should then hook up your modem to the activated jack if you have it available and should check to determine that your signals are within the acceptable ranges.
What installation timeframes are available?
- 8:00am - 11:00am
- 11:00am - 2:00pm
- 2:00pm - 5:00pm
- 5:00pm - 8:00pm
- When selecting dates you must choose three DIFFERENT dates. The same date with three different timeframes will not be accepted by our vendors.
- You CAN select the same timeframe on all three dates.
- Evening timeframes (5:00pm - 8:00pm) are the most limited in quantity. You are less likely to get your preferred date if you select this timeframe.
