Troubleshooting: Slow Speeds (DSL)

Due to the nature of DSL, we will first need to run a line test on our side to narrow down the cause of your speed issue. If after performing a speed test at http://speedtest.teksavvy.com/ you determine that you are not receiving acceptable speeds, please email support@teksavvy.com with your OID (can be found on your invoice) and the issue you are experiencing (slow speed) as the subject. Alternatively you may call us any time at 1-877-357-2889 for further support.

NOTE: DSL Connections use the PPPoE protocol. This protocol has administrative overhead which uses up to 20% of your bandwidth. This means that speedtest results between 4.8 and 5.2Mbps are normal for a 6Mbps connection.
