The following instructions will guide you through the physical setup of your TekSavvy supplied TekTalk ATA.

Basic Setup: Modem -> ATA -> PC
The basic setup option is perfect if you only use a single stationary computer or if your modem also acts as a wireless router.
- Setup your modem so that it receives internet access. Skip this step if this is already complete.
- Connect an Ethernet cord from the ATA's WAN port to the LAN port on the back of your modem.
- Connect an Ethernet cord from your PC to the LAN port on the back of the ATA.
- Connect a phone handset to the PHONE1 port on the back of your ATA.
Your ATA should now provision itself and your service should be up and running within 5 minutes.
Advanced Setup: Modem -> ATA -> Router -> PC
The advanced setup option is perfect if you use a stand alone router to bring wireless internet access to your home.
Please Note: TekSavvy does not support third party routers. If you are unable to obtain internet access through your router you will need to contact your router manufacturer for support.
- Setup the modem so that it receives internet access. Skip this step if this is already complete.
- Connect an Ethernet cord from the ATA's WAN port to the LAN port on the back of the modem.
- Connect an Ethernet cord from the Router's WAN/Internet port to the LAN port on the back of the ATA.
- Connect an Ethernet cord from your PC to one of the LAN ports on the back of the Router
- Connect a phone handset to the PHONE1 port on the back of the ATA.
Your ATA should now provision itself and your service should be up and running within 5 minutes.
