Setup Your Email on your iPhone/iPad

iPads and iPhones come with a built in email client application. The following instructions will guide you through how to setup TekSavvy email for this app.

  1. Open the Settings application. (looks like 1 big gear flanked by 2 small gears)
  2. Press Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Press Add Account...
  4. Press Other.
  5. Press Add Mail Account.
  6. Enter the customers Name, TekSavvy email Address, and Password.
  7. Press Next. (top right corner)
  8. Select IMAP.
  9. Enter our Incoming Mail Server information:
    • Host Name: mail.teksavvy.com
    • Username: Your full email address.
    • Password: Your password.
  10. Enter our Outgoing Mail Server information:
    • Host Name: out.teksavvy.com
    • Username: Your full email address.
    • Password: Your password.
  11. Press Next. (top right corner)
  12. When prompted to connect without SSL press Yes.
  13. You will now be advised that mail.teksavvy.com is not responding, press OK.
  14. Press Save.
  15. Return to the main Settings page.
  16. Press Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  17. Press the mail account that was just created.
  18. Press SMTP out.teksavvy.com.
  19. Under Primary Server press out.teksavvy.com.
  20. Change the Server Port field to 1025.
  21. Press Done.
  22. Press the previous page arrow which should be labeled with your email address. (top left corner)
  23. Press Advanced.
  24. Under Incoming Settings, change the Server Port to 143
  25. Press Done or Back.
  26. Press Done.
