IPv6

DSL

IPv6 is available by default for all of our Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec DSL customers.

Any IPv6 enabled device will by default automatically obtain a /128 IPv6 address in addition to an IPv4 address once it establishes a PPPoE connection with our network.

If using a router equipped with DHCPv6-PD (Prefix Delegation) functionality, you will also be given a /56 IPv6 subnet which will be automatically assigned to all IPv6 enabled devices on your network.

Cable

IPv6 is currently only available for Cable Internet customers in areas serviced by Rogers network at this time.

Any IPv6 enabled device will by default automatically obtain a /128 IPv6 address in addition to an IPv4 address.

If using a router equipped with DHCPv6-PD (Prefix Delegation) functionality, you will also be given a /64 IPv6 subnet which will be automatically assigned to all IPv6 enabled devices on your network.
