Order the service from your My Account portal!

Log into your My Account portal!

Click on Check Availability  - ***Chatham Kent On area only!***

If you qualify for service when you click the button it will automatically take you through the ordering process, starting with the Basics! All plans must include this Starter TV package.

Click Configuration to continue. On the next page, you can choose the theme packages you would like to add!

Click Continue to review your order.

Once you click Submit Order you are done!

Login using your My Account portal username and password!

Frequently Asked Questions!

Q. Can TekSavvy supply a device to run the app?

  • We do apologize at this time we have no devices to provide.

Q. I don’t have a TekSavvy internet subscription with Unlimited Data - can I get Teksavvy TV?

  • No, we do apologize the service is only available for Unlimited. You will need to change your plan in order to get the service. 

Q. Can I have TV without Internet from Teksavvy?

  • You cannot have TV services without an active internet subscription to our service.

Q. I have a streaming device connected to my TV, but it’s not listed on your website. Can I get TekSavvy TV? What hardware can I use with the service?

  • At this time the TekSavvy TV app is available for Apple TV Gen 4 and higher, Android TV 5.0 or higher, the Amazon Firestick 4K, iOS devices, and Android Mobile/Tablet devices.
  • Known devices to work are as follows: TVOS 9.0 and Higher (Apple TV) Android TV Versions 5 and Higher. A.0 (Xiaomi Mi Box 3, Nvidia Shield, Sony Bravia smart TV, Philips Smart TV) and Amazon 4K Firestick

Q. Why can’t I order just one channel?

  • We’re working on it. We know that customers want complete flexibility when it comes to their channels and we’re working to offer a la carte channels and pick packages where customers can choose the channels that they want in a bundle for a great price.

Q. I don’t see Video On Demand from my favourite channel - are you going to offer it?

  • We're working with all the broadcasters to offer video on demand from every channel for subscribers. However, there is no ETA as of yet.

Q. Why don’t you carry the channels that I like?

  • We chose the 100 most popular channels in Canada based on the number of people who watch the channel and the number of people who subscribe to it. We’re actively listening to our TV customers to know what they want to watch and what they want to subscribe to in order to determine what channels to add next.

Q. Can I have multiple Teksavvy Apps running at once? What about watching the same channel on different devices?

  • Up to 6 devices can be used per subscription. However, you can only use two concurrent streams of the same channel.

Q. Can I watch TekSavvy TV when I am not home?

  • Unfortunately, this feature is not available at this time. There is no ETA when it will be available currently.

Q. I have internet service with TekSavvy but the speed is less than 15Mbps, why can’t I get TekSavvy TV?

  • Our TV engineers have told us that 15Mbps is the lowest speed that TekSavvy TV will work on in order to provide the amazing experience TekSavvy has always prided itself on. The last thing we want to do is sell you a TV service that won’t work well on your internet speed. You can upgrade your speed to be able to qualify for the TV service (if you qualify for higher) and we’d be happy to hook you up with TekSavvy TV!

Q. When will Teksavvy TV be in my area?

  • We are actively looking at expanding the service. There is no ETA or timeline as of yet. Keep an eye in your My Account portal! When available it will show up available to you!

TV App Instructions

You’re now a TekSavvy TV customer. Welcome aboard! The instructions below will provide with you with a step by step process of getting up and running. 

Apple TV Gen 4 or Higher 

  • Go to the App store using your Apple TV remote
  • Search for “TekSavvy TV” and access the app’s page
  • Download the app to your Apple TV
  • Wait for the download to complete.
  • Open the app
  • You will be asked to provide your Email and Password. These are the same Email and Password that you use to log into TekSavvy’s MyAccount page
  • Enter your Email address and Password and scroll down to “Log In”

Android TV 5.0 Or Higher 

  • To the Google Play store using your remote control
  • Search for “TekSavvy TV” and access the app’s page
  • Download the app to your device
  • Wait for the app download. 
  • Open the app
  • You will be asked to provide your Email and Password. These are the same Email and Password that you use to log into TekSavvy’s MyAccount page
  • Enter your Email address and Password and scroll down to “Log In”

Amazon FireStick 4K 

  • On the home screen, scroll over to Apps and press select
  • Scroll over to “Categories” and press select
  • Select the “Entertainment” category
  • Find TekSavvy TV within this the Entertainment category and press select
  • Download the app to your FireStick
  • Open the app
  • You will be asked to provide your Email and Password. These are the same Email and Password that you use to log into TekSavvy’s MyAccount page
  • Enter your Email address and Password and scroll down to “Log In”

iPhone or iPad 

  • Go to the Apple App store
  • Select search from the bottom menu and enter “TekSavvy TV” into the search field
  • Download the app to your device
  • Open the app
  • You will be asked to provide your Email and Password. These are the same Email and Password that you use to log into TekSavvy’s MyAccount page
  • Enter your Email address and Password and scroll down to “Log In”

Android Mobile Device or Android Tablet 

  • Open the Google Play Store
  • Enter “TekSavvy TV” into the search field at the top of the screen
  • Select TekSavvy TV and then select Install
  • The app will now download
  • Open the app
  • You will be asked to provide your Email and Password. These are the same Email and Password that you use to log into TekSavvy’s MyAccount page
  • Enter your Email address and Password and scroll down to “Log In”
